Gold-plated Relays & Switches
The signal from the pickups of an electric guitar or bass is so weak that poor-quality cables, cold joints and cheap contact materials ruin your sound. Switch contacts need to be made of special materials to permit loss-free switching of these low-level signals. All Lehle switchers feature special relays and slide switches with gold-plated contacts for totally reliable, absolutely zero-loss switching.
LEHLE TRANSFORMER HZ
Hum loops and phase cancellations can occur as soon as the signal from an instrument is fed to more than one amp simultaneously. The one and only remedy for this is a high-quality transformer. Standard transformers modify the tone of electric guitars and basses very severely, since they are not designed to handle the low-strength high-impedance signals generated by instrument pickups. The Lehle LTHZ, on the other hand, has been specially conceived for use with these high-impedance signals, preserving instrument tone and the interaction between instrument and amp and eliminating hum loops.
Switching precise, swift and quiet
Swift and precise switching as between different instruments, effects loops or amps is essential in many live setups. To ensure this almost silently and wear-free, we have designed a finely tuned control system with a self developed spring located between the foot switch, our famous mushroom head, and the actual sensing device on the circuit board. A processor based on the ARM Cortex-M technology controls the switching operation very fast and precisely. While a conventional switch can handle a maximum of 20,000 switching operations, the interplay of the components used here enables a service life of 2 million switching operations. A hundred times more!
LEHLE Footswitch
The easy-action mushroom-shaped buttons characteristic of LEHLE products are mounted in the cover, so that your foot pressure is transmitted indirectly only, via a spring. Thus the electronics board is not exposed to mechanical loads, making your LEHLE virtually indestructible and guaranteeing years of trouble-free switching.
Stereo
Many effects units feature stereo outputs. Or: instruments frequently have two pickup systems, e.g. a combination of conventional magnetic and Piezo types, to emulate an acoustic sound. Lehle accessories are ideal for trouble-free routing of such dual-channel stereo signals. All stereo-capable Lehle products are, of course, also suitable for mono operation.
Balanced Output
Equipped with a standard TRS-socket for balanced output signals if needed.
No Hum Loops
All Lehle products not featuring an LTHZ transformer and bearing this symbol switch the signal ground parallel to the signal itself via switches or relays with gold-plated contacts. Hum loops are thus effectively eliminated when switching backwards and forwards between different signal sources without, for example, simultaneous activation of two amps.

• ABY switcher (A or B or both)
• Hum and noise-free switching
• High-impedance Lehle Transformer HZ with phase and ground switch
• Two different operating modes
• Stereo-routing option
• Active pop suppression circuit

The Lehle Little Dual II is the successor to the Lehle Little Dual and is a maximum signal-fidelity amp switcher for two amps. By using the soft-touch switches you can switch between two connected amplifiers hum-free and without sound loss.
Two different operating modes are ready for you. You decide if you want to activate or deactivate every output individually or if you want to switch between the amps and activate the remaining one.
The LEHLE-Switches work with a microcontroller and an intelligent True-Bypass-Relay-Circuit with active pop noise suppression circuit. Thereby they switch the Lehle Little Dual II even faster than mechanical switches and in addition to that wear- and noise-free.
The easy-action mushroom-shaped buttons characteristic of LEHLE products are mounted in the cover, so that your foot pressure is transmitted indirectly only, via a spring. Thus the electronics board is not exposed to mechanical loads, making the Lehle Little Dual II virtually indestructible and guaranteeing years of trouble-free switching.
High-intensity LEDs make it easy to read off switching state A or B, or both, even under high-power spots.
The centrepiece of the Lehle Little Dual II is its high-end Lehle Transformer HZ, which galvanically isolates output A from output B, making history of hum loops - permanently! The Lehle Little Dual II features a gold-plated contact phase inverter and a gold-plated contact ground switch. The two inputs can also be routed in stereo to outputs A and B, if you use the stereo signal of an effects unit as the input, for example. This also makes it possible to route instruments equipped with two pickups, including many acoustic and hybrid guitars, and also double basses, via two amplifier systems - with no complications.
Additionally the Lehle Little Dual II is equipped with a TRS switch. Therewith it is possible to send in above-mentioned stereo- or dual-mono signals via a TRS jack or “stereo-jack”.
These signals can be operated either in alternation or in parallel - without hum, and without sound losses, needless to say. The Lehle Little Dual II - small, but so utterly effective!

Q: What is galvanic isolation?
A: Background noise, generated by ground loops, occurs again and again when two electronic devices are connected to each other, and the Lehle Little Dual II provides a simple but extremely effective remedy when installed between the two units. The two devices are electrically isolated when the `A´ output is used, eliminating this background noise.
The protective earth conductor and the ground connection of the audio signal create a loop which will pick up external interference generated, for example, by coils. Such interference will impair the signal. The Lehle LTHZ transformer included in the Lehle Little Dual II galvanically isolates the ground connection. The hum loop is thus broken at this point.

Q: Does the galvanic isolation color my sound?
A: No, neither sound nor dynamics will be altered, the signal is passing the switcher without any loss in strength or frequency. We use our self-developed Lehle LTHZ transformers for this, the selection of high quality components guarantees a rich sound throughout the full frequency range.

Q: Is the signal suitable for a mixer/recorder? I would like to play thru my effects and simultaneously record a dry signal for later re-amping.
A: No problem, just make sure the mixer/recorder features a HiZ input, otherwise the instrument will sound flat and lifeless. Optional the output signal can be balanced by using a TRS to XLR connection.

Q: Can I use the Little Dual II for acoustic guitars with onboard preamp?
A: Absolutely! The switcher works passively and can handle all kinds of audio signals without distortion or loss, for weaker piezo signals as well as stronger line level signals.

Q: Can the Little Dual II be used as DI box since it has 14" sockets?
A: Yes, you get a balanced or unbalanced (mono-) signal from transformer-isolated output A when using a stereo (TRS) cable.

Exemplary and sophisticated!
With the additional benefits of galvanic isolation and phase reversal options the LEHLE LITTLE DUAL II is the perfect solution for anyone who wants a foot switchable signal splitter. The sophisticated and well designed signal routing options allow for a range of secondary applications beyond the main functions – the options for signal routings are especially clever. The exterior styling goes hand in hand with perfect workmanship and quality. In our tests all four LEHLE devices have been exemplary, living up to their reputation and delivering on all promises of background noise and performance.
