Swift and precise switching as between different instruments, effects loops or amps is essential in many live setups.
To ensure this almost silently and wear-free, we have designed a finely tuned control system with a self developed spring located between the foot switch, our famous mushroom head, and the actual sensing device on the circuit board.
A processor based on the ARM Cortex-M technology controls the switching operation very fast and precisely. While a conventional switch can handle a maximum of 20,000 switching operations, the interplay of the components used here enables a service life of 2 million switching operations. A hundred times more!
03-4-band-EQ.jpg 4-band EQ
An EQ is primarily intended to raise particularly desirable frequencies in a sound spectrum as well as filtering out the undesired ones. With the 4-band EQ this can be accomplished very intuitively.
Dividing the mids into high (HM) and low mids (LM) expands the possibilities of finding the individual favourite sound, since the mid range particularly affects the timbre of the instrument.
With pot T you control the highs and with pot B the basses. The treble control is a shelving filter, while the high and low mids and the bass frequencies are boosted or cut via bell filters.

Boosting guitar sounds, the mid range is a crucial factor. To enable these particularly diverse timbres, the Lehle Julian has semi-parametric mids, so the base frequency for the mid range control can be chosen. For treble, the T-pot controls a classic shelving filter.

An EQ is primarily intended to raise particularly desirable frequencies in a sound spectrum as well as filtering out the undesired ones. With semi-parametric filtering of the mid frequencies in a wide range, a very individual and precise adjustment of the sound is possible.
The T-knob controls the treble via a so-called shelving filter. To select the center frequency you use MF and to determine the intensity, the ML-knob. Thus the chosen spectrum can be raised or lowered in a bell-shaped curve. Controller B, also using a bell-filter, raises or lowers the determined bass frequency.

Only real physical galvanic isolation guarantees complete elimination of ground hum and annoying background noises in any live or studio situation. The Lehle LTMZ transformer also offers a high level of safety as it isolates from voltage peaks of up to 2000V - without loosing any tone!

An EQ is primarily intended to raise particularly desirable frequencies in a sound spectrum as well as filtering out the undesired ones. By semi-parametric filtering, and the division in HM for high and LM for low mids, a very individual and precise adjustment of the sound is possible.
The T-knob, a so-called shelving filter, controls the heights, the B-controller is responsible for the basses. The center frequency is selected with HF and LF and with HM and LM you can determine the intensity. Thus these frequencies can be raised or lowered in a bell-shaped curve.
